Sometimes it’s very difficult to choose a vendor to do work for you. You get shown pictures of their work and letters of recommendations. Then you ask for similar letters that they have received six (6) months after the work was completed. Very few contractors have those type of letters. Why? Because they either don’t follow-up with the client or there were problems after the work was completed.
JC Squared is in my experience one of the few contractors that I have dealt with that performs post-job follow-up. A company that will return your calls when you tell them you’re having a problem with something they constructed/installed.
Case in point. We’re seven (7) months from job completion. A sprinkler valve that was installed had begun to leak. A call was made to them regarding this. My call was returned that same day. Within a matter of days, one of their people arrived and fixed the problem. Many contractors would have stated that the warranty was over or wouldn’t have even returned the call. This same type of experience occurred through the two (2) months of construction except that problems were handled either the same or next day because the crew was at the job site.
Our job replaced a large concrete circular driveway with pavers, installed vinyl 2 rail fence around the front exterior of the property (over 150 linear feet), replaced sprinkler valves plus multiple sprinklers and also installed a granulized stone walkway along with stepping pads we supplied. Lighting was placed under trees, under a large boulder and attached to various locations at the front of our home. Also, instead of placing electric lighting on top of the 23 vinyl fence posts I found solar LED caps to top the posts. I found the retail price, but Josh was able to get a better price from one of his sources. It looks so attractive at night along with the other lighting that was installed.
Please accept this letter as more than just another piece of paper. JC Squared is a very qualified and honest company. Oh, by the way; they weren’t the low bidder either. They may, however, be that for your job.
